Neuhaus Literacy Leadership Institute

Designed for leaders supporting the implementation of Neuhaus curriculum, Neuhaus Literacy Leadership Institute (LLI) prepares participants to become effective literacy leaders with deep knowledge of literacy instruction, an understanding of how reading skills develop, recognition of the need for explicit, systematic teaching of the key components of reading instruction, and the ability to build trust with coaches and teachers. Participants develop an understanding of the key elements of reading instruction aligned with the Science of Reading and how to enhance teachers' use of effective teaching strategies within a structured literacy instructional routine.

Audience: Literacy leaders at the campus, district, or organizational level who are supporting the implementation of Neuhaus curriculum in their schools or districts.

Details: Includes two days of training (12 hours) plus two two-hour small-group follow-up sessions, available in person or live virtual.

Participants leave with practical strategies for supporting teachers' use of structured literacy instruction.
