Become an Adult Literacy Volunteer and help change a life. In the Greater Houston area, one in five adults struggles with low literacy, limiting access to jobs, healthcare, and education. Through our partnership with the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation, Neuhaus Education Center provides the training you need to make a meaningful difference. No teaching background required, just a willingness to help.

Assist with fundraising events, conferences, and community activities. Roles include registration, setup, hospitality, and general event support. Great for individuals and groups.

The Neuhaus Youth Ambassador Committee, Literacy Leaders, is a group of passionate high school and college students who want to make a difference in the lives of children and families impacted by reading challenges, including dyslexia. Members serve as advocates, leaders, and social influencers to help raise awareness and support for literacy.
