Structured Reading & Spelling Certified Bridge Class

Structured Reading & Spelling: Certified Bridge Class is a 6-hour course that equips CALTs and C-SLDS to support older learners. The 6-hour class then explores research-based instructional methods tailored to adolescent and adult learners.

Participants will receive:

• SRS Volume 1 Standard, SRS Volume 1 Accelerated
• SRS Volume 2A Standard, SRS Volume 2B Standard, and SRS Volume 2 Accelerated
• Key Word Deck
• Instructional Charts

These manuals are fully scripted and include student materials that contain lessons in:

• Word attack skills for multisyllabic words
• Engaging narrative and expository texts
• Vocabulary activities
• Comprehension and summarization activities
• Advanced grammar skills that aid in composition

Documentation of Certification through ALTA or CERI is a prerequisite to this course.
