Online Certification Program for Dyslexia Specialists Preview Session

Thinking about certification? Get the full picture first. This preview session introduces the Neuhaus Online Certification Program for Dyslexia Specialists (OCPDS), which prepares teachers to teach children with dyslexia and related reading disorders and offers a pathway to Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist certification through the Center for Effective Reading Instruction (CERI).

OCPDS is delivered in three phases that blend self-paced online coursework, live online class meetings, and practicum, with guided studies, book reports, and teaching practice throughout. Every part aligns with the International Dyslexia Association's Knowledge and Practice Standards for Teachers of Reading, and Neuhaus instructors guide you at every step.

To earn a certificate, you will meet all requirements, pass the Knowledge and Practice Exam for Educators of Reading Instruction (KPEERI), and complete a summative evaluation. Graduates may then apply to IDA's Center for Effective Reading Instruction.
