Online Certification Program for Dyslexia Specialists Preview Session
The Neuhaus Online Certification Program for Dyslexia Specialists (OCPDS) prepares teachers with the knowledge and practices necessary to teach children with dyslexia or related reading disorders, offering a pathway to Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist certification through the Center for Effective Reading Instruction (CERI). Instruction occurs in three phases, totaling 16 weeks over 12 months, blending self-paced online coursework, live online class meetings, and practicum experience. Every aspect of training aligns with the International Dyslexia Association’s (IDA) Knowledge and Practice Standards (KPS) for Teachers of Reading.
This Preview Session is an informal meeting to introduce the OCPDS pathway to certification. It lasts about 60 minutes and takes place on Zoom, so you can participate from home or school using the Zoom Meeting link Neuhaus provides.
Preview session participation and acceptance are required before registration in OCPDS.
