Multisensory Grammar

In Multisensory Grammar, participants learn:

• Activities that make the abstract concept of grammar concrete
• Strategies for increasing students' sentence complexity when writing
• The use of parts of speech in the construction and revision of written paragraphs

Participants also engage in collaborative activities that extend their learning and can be presented to their students.

Multisensory Grammar is a structure for grammar instruction that emphasizes the parts of speech and their usage in sentences, the role of grammar in writing and revising, and how to construct sentences of various lengths and complexity.

Audience: Grade 1-8 Teachers

Hours: 3.5 hours
