The Irregular Word Deck contains 80 cards, each with a word that does not follow frequent English reading patterns. A clipped corner gives each card an irregular shape to remind users the words are pronounced in an unexpected way. Words reflect the order of instruction in Accurate and Automatic Reading (AAR) and are numbered by concept introduction. A useful tool in any Structured Literacy program.
