Literacy Lights the Way Luncheon
Our 2026 Literacy Lights the Way Luncheon will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at The Post Oak Hotel in Houston. This year’s luncheon will be chaired by Jennifer Jeffery, Susan Neuhaus, and Sushma Yalamanchili, and Underwriting Chairs Jamie Grissom and Katherine Kardesch. We are delighted to honor Becky and Mark Hobson for their commitment to literacy and their long-time support of Neuhaus Education Center. The 2026 Keynote Speaker will be acclaimed author and Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, Robert Pondiscio.

Structured Reading & Spelling
This innovative program is structured with the necessary skills, materials, and content for educators and facilitators to make a significant impact on high school and adult learners facing literacy challenges. Structured Reading and Spelling (SRS) is a research-based professional development designed to equip educators with a comprehensive curriculum that supports older students and adults struggling with literacy.
Structured Literacy Modules
The Neuhaus Structured Literacy Modules discuss the components of evidence-based, structured literacy instruction. It is the only non-certification Neuhaus course that covers a variety of essential literacy topics in a single class.
