SUMMARY:Structured Reading & Spelling Volume 2 (Virtual)
DESCRIPTION:Structured Reading and Spelling (SRS) Volume 2 training is the next step in professional learning for instructors of high school students and adult learners.  Participants in this two-day\, live virtual training will deepen their understanding of foundational literacy skills\, understand the impact of reduced literacy skills on adults\, and learn research-based methods of instruction specific to an adult learner. \n\n\n\nParticipants will receive SRS Volume 2A Standard\, SRS Volume 2B Standard and SRS Volume 2 Accelerated.  These manuals are fully scripted and include student materials that contain lessons in:  word attack skills for multisyllabic words\, engaging narrative and expository texts\, vocabulary activities\, comprehension and summarization activities\, and advanced grammar skills that aid in composition. \n\n\n\nSRS Volume 1 professional learning is a pre-requisite to this course. \n\n\n\nLearn More About SRS Here

DESCRIPTION:Join our info session to explore Structured Reading & Spelling (SRS)\, a four-volume\, fully scripted program designed to build foundational literacy skills for high-school and adult learners through practical\, relevant content. \n\n\n\nThis session is an informal meeting to discuss Structured Reading & Spelling. The Information Session is approximately 30 minutes.  The sessions are offered before school hours on a bi-weekly basis\, Tuesdays (7:15-7:45) or after school on Thursdays (4:00-4:30). The sessions take place on Zoom\, and you can participate from home or school via a Zoom Meeting Internet Connection that Neuhaus provides.
