Reading Readiness provides an effective, research-based approach for developing necessary prereading skills. Participants in the 5.5-hour Reading Readiness class practice explicit routines that promote phonological awareness, letter recognition, the alphabetic principle, sight word recognition, oral language, and listening comprehension.
