What is IMSLEC and why is it important?

The Neuhaus Education Center is a founding member of The International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC), which accredits quality Multisensory Structured Language Education (MSLE) training courses. IMSLEC promotes and ensures quality MSLE training for teachers and therapists of individuals with dyslexia and related disorders through its accreditation of training courses. IMSLEC accredits training programs which include a variety of approaches such as the Neuhaus Education Center’s Basic Language Skills, Orton-Gillingham, Spalding, Hardman, Alphabetic Phonics, Slingerland, and Alphabetic Phonetic Structural Linguistics. Rai Thompson is a long-time member of the Neuhaus Teaching Staff, and is currently on the IMSLEC board.
